Welcome to The Woodcycle, my personal passion project where I create handcrafted wood pieces that celebrate nature and sustainability. My name is Yana Daniels, and alongside my career as a professional footballer with Liverpool FC Women and Belgium, I’ve found a deep love for woodworking. Each item here from keyrings to candle holders and home decor is crafted from reclaimed or sustainable wood, carrying its own story and character.

From a young age, I've been concerned about climate change and our responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint. I combined my studies in agro- and biotechnology with my passion for woodworking. One of the most important ways to mitigate climate change is to reduce our dependence on fossil resources. Wood is a renewable, recyclable and reusable material.
